Dr. Sammy Gathiru, DNP is a Board-Certified, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides a comprehensive approach to mental health treatment by incorporating psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and alternative treatment modalities to best address your concern. Providing a client-centered method of treatment, which includes educating clients about their diagnosis, treatment options and working with the clients to develop a unique treatment plan tailored to fit each individual.

Our team is invested in helping you achieve your mental wellness goals. We treat psychiatric disorders not limited to: Mood, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar and Trauma-related disorders. Utilizing psycho-dynamic therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, as well as other treatment modalities. We are trained and licensed to treat clients of all ages.

Process
We do an initial complete psychological evaluation on all clients. Including use of effective screening tools to systematically and thoroughly give an indicator of psychiatric diagnosis
